About Godzilla Head

The Godzilla Head is the Kabukicho object people actually photograph. Toho mounted a roughly 12-metre head on the 8th floor of Shinjuku Toho Building (Hotel Gracery Shinjuku) in 2015, about 50 m above the street, the Showa-era height of Godzilla. It roars and lights up once an hour from 12:00 to 20:00. Watch from Cinema City Plaza / Central Road. The Godzilla Terrace itself is closed. TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku occupies floors 3–6. A Godzilla manhole cover sits near the building entrance. This is a statue on a hotel, not a theme park. Combine it with Hanazono Shrine (south) and Tokyu Kabukicho Tower (north).
