About This Event / イベントについて
San-X's beloved "corner-living" characters take over the Keio Department Store Shinjuku 7th-floor Grand Event Hall (大催場) for two weeks in July. Titled Sumikko Gurashi Exhibition ~Meshiagare♪ Sumikko Restaurant~, the event turns the space into a themed restaurant where visitors can shop alongside Sumikko characters in character.
The exhibition pairs photo spots with limited-edition merchandise — acrylic stands, plushies, and exclusive restaurant-themed goods — plus an actual themed-food menu featuring dishes shaped like Shirokuma, Penguin?, Tonkatsu, and Neko. Admission is free, making it a popular family outing and a pilgrimage for character-goods collectors. Note the final day (July 30) closes early at 17:00.
