GAPカフェ 新宿Flags店
世界初のGAPブランドカフェ。新宿駅東南口の商業施設「Flags」1階にあります。
GAP Cafe is the world's first cafe operated by the Gap clothing brand, located on the first floor of the Flags shopping complex at Shinjuku Station's south-east exit. Opened in June 2020 alongside a new Gap flagship store, the cafe brought a novel retail-meets-hospitality concept to Tokyo, allowing shoppers to enjoy coffee and sweets whilst browsing apparel. The cafe serves a menu of coffees, lattes, smoothies and baked goods, with several items featuring Gap branding and seasonal collaborations. It has become a popular spot for shoppers to rest and recharge, and the location on the ground floor of Flags means it doubles as a meeting point for friends heading out in the Shinjuku area. Opening hours run from 11:00 to 22:00 daily, with last orders at 21:30, and the cafe is accessible directly from the JR south-east exit without crossing any streets. Given its novelty as the only Gap cafe in existence, it attracts curious visitors and photographers alongside regular shoppers, so weekday mornings tend to be the quietest time to visit.
