Sarabeth's LUMINE 2 Shinjuku is the Japanese branch of the iconic New York brunch institution, known as the "Queen of New York Breakfast." Located on the 2nd floor of Lumine 2 at Shinjuku Station's south exit, the restaurant brings the same comforting American brunch fare that made the original Manhattan location famous. The one-minute walk from JR, Odakyu and Keio lines makes it one of the most conveniently located brunch spots in Shinjuku. The menu features all the beloved Sarabeth's classics, including fluffy pancakes, eggs Benedict, French toast and omelettes, alongside lunch and dinner offerings that extend into pasta, salads and dessert courses. The signature jams and fresh-squeezed juices remain highlights, and the kitchen maintains the same standards that earned the New York original its devoted following. With 64 seats and a bright, airy interior, it provides a welcome respite from the bustle of the station below. Opening hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm daily with last orders at 9:00 pm, and the early 9:00 am start makes it one of the few places in Shinjuku for a proper sit-down breakfast. The restaurant does not close on any regular day, and advance reservations are advisable for weekend brunch when queues can be lengthy.
