Truffle Bakery Lumine Shinjuku is the Kanto region's first cafe-format branch of the truffle-focused bakery chain, opened in June 2025 on the ground floor of Lumine 1, directly above JR Shinjuku Station. The brand was founded in 2007 at Monzen-Nakacho and has built a loyal following for its European-style breads infused with white and black truffle, making this Shinjuku outpost one of the largest Truffle Bakery locations in central Tokyo. The signature item is the white truffle hot dog, a limited bread exclusive to the Lumine Shinjuku branch, alongside the classic truffle-flavoured baguette and pastries that first made the bakery's name. Drinks incorporate natural spring water from the Yatsugatake range, and the seating area is designed for commuters who want a quick coffee and a freshly baked roll rather than a long sit-down meal. Opening hours run from 8:00 in the morning until 21:00 at night, which suits both early commuters and late shoppers using the JR and Keio lines beneath the building. Because the counter can queue during the lunchtime rush between 12:00 and 13:30, visiting just after opening or after 15:00 offers a quieter experience with the same fresh selection.
