XLARGE/X-girl 新宿

XLARGE/X-girl is a combined streetwear boutique on the 6th floor of LUMINE EST Shinjuku, pairing the LA-born XLARGE label with its sister brand X-girl under a single roof. XLARGE was founded in Los Angeles in 1991, drawing on rock, military, outdoor and sports culture, whilst X-girl followed in 1994 under the direction of Kim Gordon and Daisy von Furth, offering a more feminine interpretation of authentic street style. The Shinjuku store carries the full menswear and womenswear collections across both brands, including graphic tees, sweatshirts, outerwear, caps and collaborative items with other streetwear names. XLARGE's gorilla logo and X-girl's retro-preppy aesthetic sit side by side, and the store regularly stocks Japan-exclusive collaborations that are difficult to find outside the country. Staff styling tends to reflect a mix of both looks. LUMINE EST Shinjuku is directly connected to JR Shinjuku Station's east exit at 3-38-1 Shinjuku. The store opens at 11:00 on weekdays and 10:30 on weekends and public holidays, closing at 21:30 daily, and overseas visitors can take advantage of the building's tax-free counter on the basement floor.
