Isetan Shinjuku's 1F The Stage turns over again in early September, and the first name on the floor is FENDI. Fendi Japan will run a 2026-27 autumn-winter popup from Wednesday 2 September to Tuesday 8 September, 10:00 to 20:00. Friday 4 September is a full honkan and men's building close for store events. The Stage stays dark that day. Isetan Kaikan and Park City Isetan floors 3 to 5 stay open.
The Stage is Isetan's rotating 1F installation slot, not the year-round FENDI shop. That shop remains on honkan 4F International Luxury (direct line 03-3356-9668). The popup is a launch window for Maria Grazia Chiuri's first full autumn-winter as chief creative officer. The room is dressed like Rome at dusk: Fendi yellow, terracotta marble, and large type in the centre inspired by ruins. Bags you cannot yet find upstairs sit on 1F first.
FENDI Magic, and the beige that stays in Japan
The new signature is FENDI Magic, a square tote with tubular handles and a FENDI Cuneo side detail around a centred logo. The Japan-exclusive beige is 436,700 yen including tax (H34 x W41 x D13 cm). Isetan Shinjuku The Stage gets it before general retail on 16 September. The FF-jacquard sibling is 469,700 yen. CREA flagged A4 capacity and a commuter-bag pitch. The silhouette is a tote, not a Baguette.
Every Magic sold at this popup can take initials. Up to three letters and three dots, for example M.G.C. Isetan says the embroidery is exclusive to this Shinjuku Stage run. If you want the beige and the stitching, this week is the overlap. After 8 September the beige still has a 16 September general date. The Stage-only embroidery does not travel with it.
My Peekaboo, Heartbeat, and the 4 September hole
My Peekaboo rounds the icon Peekaboo into a lighter shape with a longer strap. Medium is 808,500 yen, XS 566,500 yen, tax in. A hot-stamp initial on the interior is offered here first, then rolls to selected stores in early September. FENDI Heartbeat jewellery in vintage gold with hearts, and a men's Phone Camera Case, fill the rest of the case lines. Those SKUs are collection stock, not Stage exclusives.
Plan around Friday 4 September. Honkan and the men's building shut for in-store events. A popup that lists 2-8 September is really 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. Six selling days, not seven. Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 will take the displaced Friday traffic. If you need staff time for embroidery choices, Wednesday 2 or Thursday 3 is the quieter bet. Isetan Shinjuku 3-14-1 is Shinjuku Station east exit, then the honkan doors on the 1F luxury aisle.
Fendi Japan's 21 August PR TIMES is the price source. Isetan's own shop news (dated 26 August) repeats the 4 September close and the beige-first window. FashionSnap and CREA used the same bag stills. There is no public installation walk-through yet, so the Rome colour story is still press language until the doors open 2 September.
