BOX cafe&space LUMINE EST Shinjuku 1-go is a theme-cafe concept space on the eighth floor of LUMINE EST Shinjuku, at 3-38-1 Shinjuku, directly connected to Shinjuku Station. The branch opened in December 2025 alongside a second shop on the same floor, bringing the BOX cafe&space chain's tally to over nineteen locations across Japan. The LUMINE EST location places it in one of the station's busiest retail complexes, easily reachable from the JR and Tokyo Metro lines.

The cafe operates as a rotating theme-cafe venue, hosting limited-run collaborations with anime, game and character franchises that transform the decor, menu and merchandise for each event. Past collaborations have included the Loveez idol group and original anime such as Candy Caries, with each event running for several weeks. The menu offers themed food and drinks designed to be photogenic, and exclusive merchandise is sold alongside the food.

Hours run from 11:15 to 21:30 daily, and reservations open in advance of each collaboration through the official site and booking platforms. Popular collaborations sell out within hours of booking opening, so following the chain's social media for announcements is worthwhile. Walk-in slots are sometimes available on quieter weekdays, but weekend visits almost always require a reservation.
