Naroz Opens a Second Luxury Night Cafe in Kabukicho on August 4

A second Naroz location — the luxury shisha cafe and lounge brand — opens in Shinjuku Kabukicho on August 4, 2026, with a grand opening on August 15. The new store takes the 5th floor of the I ♥ Kabukicho Building (Hayashi Building) at 1-14-7 Kabukicho, two minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station.

A bigger, more luxurious Naroz

The original Naroz, near Shinjuku Station, built its following on a simple proposition: a high-end hotel-lounge interior, shisha supervised by a national grand champion, and an all-you-can-eat cake and shaved ice service folded into the basic seating fee. The second store carries the same DNA but scales it up. The floor area is 240 square metres — unusual for a shisha lounge — and the total construction cost exceeded ¥100 million.

Two new 10-person VIP rooms are added for the second location, designed for birthday parties, girls' nights, and business gatherings. Each room has a different art concept, and all rooms come with karaoke, the latest games, and movie-watching setups. The rental amenities that other venues charge for — photography ring lights, chargers, blankets, hair irons — are all provided free.

The sweets offering, upgraded

The all-you-can-eat sweets service that drew crowds to the first store returns in upgraded form. Alongside the existing cake and shaved-ice lineup, the second store adds exclusive new pâtissier-made cakes and a premium shaved ice, all included in the basic seating fee. The shisha programme is supervised by a player who won first place at the national shisha grand prix, with regular direction on flavour blending and charcoal management. Non-nicotine flavours are stocked for first-timers and those who avoid tobacco.

A different kind of Kabukicho night

The new Naroz opens into a Kabukicho that has changed substantially in the last three years. The 2023 opening of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower drew a wave of new restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues to the area, and the neighbourhood now draws a wider mix of locals and international visitors than at any point in its modern history. Naroz positions itself as a calmer, slower alternative — a late-night cafe rather than a bar, with seating, conversation and dessert at its centre. Hours run from 14:00 weekdays and 11:00 weekends through to 7:00 the following morning, year-round.
