AFURI Shinjuku Lumine serves its celebrated yuzu shio ramen from the B2F of Lumine 1 at Shinjuku Station, offering a lighter, citrus-scented alternative to traditional tonkotsu broth.

AFURI Shinjuku Lumine is a branch of the renowned AFURI ramen chain located on the B2F level of Lumine 1, directly connected to Shinjuku Station. The brand is famous for its yuzu shio ramen, a light and aromatic broth infused with the citrus fragrance of yuzu and sansho pepper, offering a distinctly different experience from the heavy, rich tonkotsu styles more commonly found in Tokyo. The one-minute walk from the station makes it one of the most accessible ramen shops in the Shinjuku area.

Beyond the signature yuzu shio ramen, the menu features ume-shio soba with plum and salt, as well as tsukemen dipping noodles. Diners can customise their bowl by switching to thin, whole-wheat or konnyaku noodles, and the pork chashu can be substituted with chicken breast for a lighter option. The clear, golden broth is made from a blend of chicken, seafood and vegetable dashi, resulting in a delicate yet deeply flavourful base.

Opening hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, with service continuing until the soup runs out. The shop is open year-round and accepts cashless payments, making it a convenient option for a quick and satisfying meal at any time of day.
