Bright Italian restaurant in Shinjuku Southern Terrace serving Marche-region pasta, wood-fired pizza and a friendly Umani Ronchi wine list.
Villa Bianchi is a relaxed Italian restaurant on the third floor of the Southern Tower at Shinjuku Southern Terrace, with a bright, holiday-like dining room and a menu that leans on the Marche region in central Italy. The pasta highlight is Mancini, a chewy bronze-cut dried pasta from the Marche coast that the kitchen uses across many of its dishes.\n\nThe wood-fired oven turns out Neapolitan-style pizza and a small line-up of grilled fish and meat, while the wine list is built around Umani Ronchi, one of the most respected producers in the Marche. There is also a takeaway counter for those after a quick bite or a slice to take into the park.\n\nFor a Shinjuku lunch or dinner that is sunny, well-paced and a little different from the usual Shinjuku Italian suspects, Villa Bianchi is a steady recommendation. Book ahead for weekday dinner and weekend brunch.Based on 1478 Google reviews
