Ogura Megane opened a TOM FORD EYEWEAR SPECIALTY STORE inside its Lumine Est shop on Saturday, 12 September 2026. The shop is on the fifth floor of Lumine Est at 3-38-1 Shinjuku, a one-minute walk from the JR Shinjuku Station East Exit and Central East ticket gates.
Ogura describes the Shinjuku counter as one of the largest Tom Ford eyewear selections in the area. It is the company's second Tom Ford specialty store. The first sits inside SPECS, the eyewear select shop on the eighth floor of Daimaru Tokyo. The Lumine Est version is built for people who want this season's frames, the brand's long-running shapes, or a pair that does not show up on every other tray in the station buildings.
What is on the trays
Stock runs from new seasonal frames to older classics. You can try smaller, finer shapes and the oversized styles that have been circulating lately. Ogura also says it holds scarce models that are hard to find at other Shinjuku shops.

An optician shop, not a pop-up
The specialty store sits inside Ogura Megane Shinjuku Lumine Est Store. Tom Ford was already on the shop's brand list. The new setup deepens that corner rather than adding a separate unit in the mall.

Lumine Est files the tenant as an optical specialist. Besides prescription frames and sunglasses, the shop sells loupes and desktop video magnifiers for low vision. Eligible overseas visitors can use tax-free shopping. The mall's tax-free counter keeps the same hours as the shopping floors, weekdays 11:00 to 21:00 and weekends and holidays 10:30 to 21:00.
Ogura asks you to reserve. Booked customers go first. If you walk in, you may wait. Web booking for this store opens 14 days before the visit on the shop's Air Reserve calendar. Parking is listed as available. The Shinjuku Station East Exit car park on basement 2 of the building charges 400 yen per 30 minutes, with up to two hours free when same-day Lumine Shinjuku, Lumine Est, or iLUMINE receipts total 3,000 yen or more.
Ogura Co., Ltd. started on 1 July 1954. Nobutaka Ogura is president. Capital is 35 million yen. The company runs optical stores, the Enfant children's glasses shops, frame development, low-vision aids, hearing aids and related goods, contact lenses, and other optical products. Prescription sunglasses and fitting
Staff here are trained by Ogura, which matters if you need a real prescription rather than a fashion try-on. They work from how you see and how you dress. Prescription sunglasses are available. Ask for that service if you want Tom Ford sun frames with your correction instead of non-prescription lenses.

Lumine Est is the station building on the JR east side of Shinjuku. Use the East Exit or the Central East ticket gates. The mall is about a one-minute walk. Go up to 5F. Tully's Coffee is on the same floor if you need a seat before or after a fitting. The whole building is non-smoking except the smoking room on 7F.

If you arrive on Tokyo Metro Marunouchi, Toei Shinjuku, Odakyu, Keio, or Seibu Shinjuku, stay on the east side of the complex and follow signs for Lumine Est. Shop hours are weekdays 11:00 to 21:00, weekends and holidays 10:30 to 21:00. There is no regular closing day. Those hours match Lumine Est's shopping floors, so you will not find this optician open after the mall's fashion shops have shut.
